A total of 8 films are nominated for International Feature Competition, which will be ambitiously presented at PyeongChang International Peace Film Festival. 5 international films and 3 Korean films reveal political and social absurdities from the perspective of underprivileged people including sexual minorities, immigrants and women, which are taking place globally in the 21st century. Not only metadiscourses but also unfair situations that can happen to individuals and small stories that have not been revealed, unfold through solid stories and cinematic devices. Though all 8 films are new works by promising young directors, they have high quality as well as senses of theme to enthral the audience which shows they were selected through fierce preliminary.
